Church of England Diocese of St.Albans Christ Church Waltham Cross

Christ Church, Waltham Cross

NEWS

WE ARE OPEN FOR PUBLIC SERVICES (and christenings and weddings)

Our dedicated website can be found at christchurchwx.com - you'll find more information about us there.

Christ Church is a friendly and inclusive church that welcomes all people. We believe in the ministry of both men and women, and we accept everyone as they are. We believe we are all made in God's image.

You don't have to ask to join, or to come here, Anglican churches are public places, intended to serve the community and you can literally just turn up at any service.

You'll be warmly welcomed!

We are part of Cheshunt Team Ministry (Christ Church, St Mary's Cheshunt, St Clement's, Turnford and St James' Goffs Oak) and the churches work closely together.

We are also partners with the Methodist Church, and we work and worship together.

Safeguarding

If you have a safeguarding concern please contact us or the Diocese of St Albans using the information on the safeguarding page of this website. The parish of Waltham Cross: Christ Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Albans’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
