Getting here
St George the Martyr is one of the ancient parishes of Southwark. Today it stands in the midst of an area that is undergoing exciting regeneration. In 2005 a major restoration project was undertaken to put the structure back on secure foundations, and enable the church to takes its full place in the renewal of the area - as a centre for worship and meeting, for music and local history.
