Give to Go Green is a Church of England scheme by which parishes are encouraged to take actions to reduce their carbon footprint. We raised over £7000.
With these funds we have installed infra-red heaters into the north transept, so it can be used for smaller meetings without needing to heat the whole church. It was a long drawn out process due to various complications but is now complete.
Thanks very much to all who contributed. Any residual funds are being held to fund other "green" improvements around the church.
