St Giles-on-the-Hill

Sitting proudly at the top of the street that bears its name, the church of St Giles, also known as the Wisteria Church, has the tallest church tower in Norwich with a height of 120 ft. The wisteria was planted by a former priest at the church in celebration of his daughter’s wedding just over 100 years ago and it still flourishes annually. These two features make the church one of the most iconic in Norwich.

This year, members of the ministry team will be leading reflections on the themes of God, Peace, Forgiveness, Silence, and Hope each Monday during Lent at St Giles-on-the-Hill. Each day begins with a simple lunch of soup and bread at 12:30 pm followed by the programme beginning around 1:00 pm. During Lent we are all encouraged to increase our awareness of God's presence through Christ; this is a fantastic opportunity to deepen our faith and strengthen our fellowship. Please feel free to bring a friend!

Pop in sometime and enjoy a warm welcome on Thursdays from 10.30am to 1pm.
