Our friends from St George Tombland and St George Colegate join us today on Upper St Giles Street for the Liturgy of the Palms and our procession to St Giles-on-the-Hill at the beginning of Holy Week.

As Jesus, the Servant King, rode into Jerusalem on a donkey the crowds shouted and cheered. On this Palm Sunday let us too lift our hearts and souls and voices in praise of Jesus our Lord.
Our procession into church (representing Jerusalem) is a corporate penitential act as we mark together our journey into the Lord’s passion and death.
Those same voices that cried aloud “Hosanna!” will cry out “Crucify him!” later this week.

Our Good Friday worship includes the choir singing the Gospel setting by Vittoria in a poignant service of reflection, prayer and the eucharist.

This is an annual event celebrating the continued growth of the Wisteria, which was planted over 100 years ago. Each year we invite a group to entertain us and this year we welcome Cantilena to sing for us.
