Safari Supper

23 Feb 2019, 7 p.m. for 5hr

Various locations and times, see text.

It's time for the ever popular Safari Supper. As in previous years this fundraising event is held in the homes of volunteers, diners visit a different house for each course. If you've not joined in before please do, previous years have consistently seen quality eating for a bargain price and with excellent conversation. For details see the parish newsletter and information on the DSL Email group. Here is a copy of the 1 Feb email:
Dear all,
This is just a reminder that the Safari Supper takes place on Saturday 23rd

Please let me know by Friday 8th at the latest if you would like a ticket!
£25 each.
Thanks

The two annual meetings, the APM and the APCM, will be held in the Church starting just after the Evening Service at 7 pm on Sunday 7 April.
The Annual Parish Meeting (APM) will be held first. This is the meeting at which the Churchwardens are selected/elected. Eligibility to vote is limited, basically to residents of this parish, official notification will be in the church porch. The meeting is usually very short, and is followed by the APCM.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is held immediately after the APM. It is the meeting at which the annual reports of the Parochial Church Council (PCC) are presented for approval and PCC Members are elected. Only those on the Church Electoral Role can vote, please ask the Churchwardens for details of how to register, a new register is being compiled this year. Details and Official notifications will be in the church porch. Again this is not a long meeting, and is usually followed by the first meeting of the new PCC, again brief.
