Getting Married

We are delighted to welcome anyone who is thinking of getting married in All Saints'.

Your first step is to contact the Benefice Office on 01935 826113 or email [email protected] and we will get back to you quickly to let you know if that date is free. Simply let us know:

a) your names

b) your intended wedding date

c) your address

d) a contact phone number / e-mail

e) your marital status (e.g. single or divorced)

f) your connection to Martock if you are not living in the Parish.

Before a date can be confirmed, some legal paperwork and the initial application form must be completed in person with either our Benefice Administrator during her working hours or with Revd Paul Fillery. You will each need to bring original identity documents including passport, driving licence, a recent utility bill and any paperwork to support a change of name or marital status to confirm your identity and residential status.

It's also important to put our annual Wedding Preparation morning into your diary. It is a great opportunity to hear more about your wedding day, think about your marriage and get to meet both the team here and other couples who are getting married that year.

Wedding Fees are set and revised each year by the Church of England, and published locally in January each year. Fees are due just 2 weeks before a wedding and cannot be paid in the previous year.
