Next Sunday, April 24, we will be holding a cafe-style church service in the church hall.This will be worship accompanied by coffee and croissants, led by our lay members.The aim is to help the local community get to know more about our mission at St James, in the more relaxed setting of the hall.We hope as many people as possible will attend, and are encouraging people to bring a friend or neighbour who may not necessarily be a regular in church.The service is at 11am.

Sunday (March 27) we celebrate Mothering Sunday with a display in church showcasing the work of the Mother's Union in supporting families in the UK and throughout the world. There is also the opportunity to make a donation in support of this work.Monday (March 28) our Lent Group continues, 10am in the hall.On Friday is the usual Coffee Morning in the hall, 10.30am-12noon.Looking ahead, we are planning an event in the church hall to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. To help with this we are holding a planning meeting in the church hall at 2pm on Saturday, April 9. Please come along to show your support and share any ideas.
