From Wednesday 22nd April

This is a pilot scheme being offered as a church-sponsored after school club on Wednesdays for pupils in Yrs 5 and 6 from our school, in All Saints Youth and Community Centre, opposite the main entrance of school.

The title explains itself.  There will be some games, exploration of some Biblical themes, using the 'Unfold' resource, a prayer and a song, and then some food.  The 'Pizza' is for alliteration in the title.   The food will be more varied than that!

The Yr 5s will become Y6s to show the new Yr 5s the way.  The Yr 6s will become Yr 7s having moved on to their high schools, and will be welcome to visit as soon as travel allows them to get back, to provide some help with transitions from Primary to Secondary School.

There is a catchetical aim to, which is to enable youngters to explore the Christian Faith, even so consider baptism (if that hasn't already occured) and Confirmation.

If it takes off, we hope to offer it to those of UKS2 age more widely, and to build friendships across our schools.

It runs 3.30 - 5.00 pm in term time.
