St John's Wingates

St John's Wingates is here as a Christian presence to support our congregation and community; please do not hesitate to contact us if we can offer you help and support.
Our Services: Please join us at St John’s Wingates on Sundays where we hold our Morning Worship Service or Holy Communion at 9.30 am.
We have an All Age Service on the 3rd Sunday each month. Our Children’s Church is held as part of our Sunday services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Our Church Activities: We have regular church activities including Men's Breakfast, Bric-a-brac & Brew, Ignite Youth (our Team Youth Church) and various events to support both our church and community. These include collecting food and other items for Urban Outreach and Westhoughton Assist. More information is available in "Services & Events".
Online Services: Don’t worry if you aren't able to get to church. We have Bitesized Worship and Sunday online videos for special services. Our pew sheet will still continue to be available on a weekly basis on request. Please see "News & Notices" for details of how to access the videos on YouTube.
Parents: Please remember that you are now required to attend an act of worship in person for you and your child's attendance to count for school admission purposes.
DAILY HOPE - you might be interested to hear about the FREE phone line provided by the Church of England offering hymns, prayers and words of comfort. Each call lasts about 20 minutes. There’s a short talk, a hymn and a prayer – and other options are available by pressing various prompts. Please note that it is a freephone number: 0800 8048044
