We are aiming to build, then give away, a big stock of items (‘Snuggles’) to help people stay warm and comfy at home; it’ll be a kind of ‘warm bank’. We need donations of hot water bottles (not the microwaveable type), flasks, gloves/mittens, scarves, hats, blankets, dressing gowns, fleece jackets, single-bed hollow fibre duvets, bed socks and onesies in all adult and child sizes. We’d also like to try to create a school uniform bank. Snuggle Box will be overseen by Sandra Miller as a new expression of her Safeguarding role (see number on back page). Items will be given away to anyone who says they need it, but we hope this will reach those who really need it. Snuggles can be delivered by arrangement or collected from the Hall when Auntie Sheila’s Club is on (see link). No food, gas/electrical items nor anything not on the above list, thank you. All donations must be in excellent condition, new in packaging or freshly washed. We also need carrier bags. You can also drop items off at Harworth and Bircotes Town Hall.
