All Services are for everyone. Children of all ages are welcome. For the very young there is a small crèche area on the lectern side of the church near the front.

St. Faith's, Hitchin

Welcome to St Faith's Church, Hitchin - an Anglican church serving the community of Walsworth,  to the east of Hitchin, including the High over, Rose Hill, Purwell and St Michael's estates.

Whether you prefer a traditional morning service or a calmer evening gathering, there is a place for you here. Join us for Holy Communion at 9:30 am, a traditional service with liturgy, readings and the St Faith's Choir. There is a small creche area at the side of the church for under 5s.

Or come along to one of the Hub gatherings. The service at 11:00am is an informal service with children's and youth groups, and the 5:00pm is a more relaxed, interactive service, followed by a trip to the Anchor pub across the road from the church! Please see our "Services and Events" panel for up to date details.

Caring for a baby or toddler? Our Mini Mondays group runs from 9.30-11.30 every Monday morning, with space for the little ones to play and the chance to grab a cuppa and some cake for the grown ups!

The parish of Hitchin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St Albans’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
