Welcome to St Bartholomew's, Sydenham.
We are a friendly and diverse church where all people, of all ages, are welcome.
This site has details of our regular services and other activities, contact details and some information about the church and it's life. There are also links to our website which has more in-depth information on the history of St Bartholomew's and to our Facebook page and YouTube channel where regular information and recorded or live-streamed services can be found.
COVID 19 Due to the Pandemic we have, with regret, decided to temporarily stop all in-person worship. So for the time being all our Sunday and week day services are not happening. However we have broadcast services and other opportunities for prayer and worship on-line - details can be found on services and events pages here. A simple form of Daily Prayer, together with a pattern of daily Bible readings can be downloaded from the Daily Prayer page and seasonal resources will also be available as appropriate.
Do join us on-line. All are welcome!
"The parish of Sydenham: St Bartholomew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwark’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
