Bring your knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, colouring, card making, craft project etc.. Share ideas and skills. Or simply come for a cuppa and natter!
All ages (children are welcome if accompanied by their parents), beginners welcome.

The heart of our life and worship. We meet with Jesus through the Scriptures, through our fellowship and as the Lord comes to meet us in the bread and wine of Holy Communion.
We share our concerns with God in prayer, we listen for God's voice in the readings from the bible and a sermon and we gather as the people of God around the altar.
Music is an important part of our worship, led by our choristers, singers and young singers, fine organ and piano.
The form of service (the 'liturgy') follows contemporary Church of England patterns.

All ages are warmly welcome at St Bartholomew's. Children are always welcome in the service; there are some simple activities available for younger children for use while sitting with their families, and on the fourth Sunday of each month the prayers, sermon and other parts of the service are especially chosen with all ages in mind.

A simple, relaxed mid-week service of Holy Communion which aims to give a sense of gathering around the altar to read and respond to the Gospel together and share in prayer for our Parish, communities and one another.

SUNDAY 25th JANUARY @ 17:00

Sung Evening Prayer on the Eve of the Conversion of St Paul.
Including a complete overview of the Bible in one go!

Service will last approx 1hr including the Bible overview.

Part of a series of occasional evening services throughout 2026 offering different styles of worship to reflect different personalities and spiritualities.

The reflective and quieter nature of this service means that unfortunately it is not suitable for small children.

A gentle service including opportunity to pray for those known to you in need of God's healing touch and, if you wish, to receive anointing and prayer for yourself.

SATURDAYS THROUGH LENT 11:00 - 12:30
4 weeks of Bible study, informed discussion and respectful conversation in a Cafe Church setting with a simple soup lunch.
Using material from Embrace The Middle East, offering differing theological interpretations of passages form Romans, snapshots of key historical moments, and discussion points to create space for respectful dialogue, the group aims to help us listen and speak well about Israel and Palestine.
Free to take part, but if you sign up (at back of church) it helps with catering and ordering enough materials.
The group (without lunch) will be repeated on Wednesday evenings through Lent - see attached flyer for details.

SUNDAY 22nd FEBRUARY 09:15 - 09:45
Rev'd Jim will give a brief introduction to St Paul's Letter to the Romans, while Mthr Bethany serves breakfast pastries & coffee!
Most weeks through Lent our first reading on Sunday mornings will come from Romans, and our Lent group 'Gracious Dialogue' will also explore different interpretations f key passages in Romans. This short breakfast introduction offers one way to prepare to hear and explore those readings through the Lent season.
