Most Sunday mornings through the Advent and Christmas seasons this year we will hear a reading from the Book of Isaiah, one of the great prophets of the Old Testament. Christians often interpret parts of Isaiah as for-telling the coming of the Messiah, God’s chosen one, aka Jesus the Christ.
This Advent Sunday (30th November), between our two morning services, Mthr Bethany will give a brief introduction to Isaiah, helping us to prepare. Meanwhile, Rev’d Jim will serve coffee and breakfast pastries!
