The parish runs a host of events for the wider community.
At this current time with the Coronavirus outbreak, all parish events are suspended
[email protected] is a great time to enjoy tea and sandwiches/cakes/scones and a time of fellowship. This informal group meets in the Church Hall from 3.00-4.30 pm on the second Thursday and is co-ordinated by Mary Keegan and Jan Cribben with helpers (contact on 01202 871343). All are very welcome.
Men's Breakfast Group
We meet in the Church Hall on the third Saturday monthly from 9am for about 90 minutes for a hearty breakfast and social. Coordinators are William Munn and Peter Dunning (contact through the vicar).
This meets on the second Saturday of the month at 10am. For more information please contact the vicar.
The church constantly organises social events - some are pure fun, some are traditional, and some are totally unique! All normally include food and fun (and quite often a Raffle!). All are welcome to any of the events.
Choir practices in church on Wednesday at 7.30 pm with our trainer/organist Valerie Robertson and sings at our 10.00 am Eucharist.
Home Groups are run bi-weekly at various times in peoples' homes. They give us the opportunity to meet with other Christians to build friendships, to share, to pray, and to study the Bible. An average meeting lasts for about two hours. Study themes are chosen by the group. For more information on Home Groups, please contact the vicar Revd Andy.
Churches Together in West Moors
We cooperate with our friends in the other churches in West Moors. We join together for combined worship and study at various times including Easter, Pentecost and Christmas. We meet on a regular basis to share matters of common concern. Together we organise the Village Christmas Carol Event on the first Friday evening every December.
