This month, our services have focused on a simple but important theme: giving and generosity. It's something at the very heart of who we are as a church family — not just about money, but about how we share what we have with one another and with our wider community.

As part of this, we've written to everyone on our Church Electoral Rolls with a letter and a short leaflet about giving. If you've received one, we'd be so grateful if you could complete the response form and return it to your PCC Treasurer — even if, right now, you're not in a position to make any changes. Simply letting us know matters, and it helps us plan for the future. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who's already sent theirs back.

Haven't received a letter? Please don't feel left out — just let us know, and we'll happily send you one. No one should ever feel excluded from giving to their church, whatever your circumstances.

A simpler way to give: the Parish Giving Scheme

We're also encouraging our regular givers to consider moving to the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) — a small change that makes a real difference behind the scenes. Here's why:

• Gift Aid, sorted automatically. No more forms to chase — every eligible donation is reclaimed for us without any extra work.
• Less admin, more time. It takes a genuine weight off our PCC Treasurers' shoulders, freeing them up for the things that matter more.
• A steady, predictable income. Knowing what's coming in each month helps us plan and budget with confidence.
• No cost to you, or to us. For regular giving, the scheme is completely free for both giver and church.
• Giving that keeps pace with life. There's an option to increase your giving gently each year in line with inflation, so your generosity keeps its value over time — entirely optional, and always in your control.
