Come along to our monthly Farmer's Market. There is a variety of stalls including Cumbrian meat, Lancashire cheese, bread, cakes, jams, chutneys, local honey, soap and toiletries and other locally crafted goods. Reduce food miles and shop locally.
A weekly family friendly service
As we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus at Christmas our vicar, David Roscoe, will hold a session at 12 noon on each Sunday in Advent to explore aspects of this season of penitance and anticipation.
This special and beautiful service for all ages, but especially loved by children, will be held in the afternoon of the fourth Sunday of Advent so that it is growing dark as the Christingle candles are lighted. Everyone is welcome.
Our popular Christmas Eve Carol Service offers an opportunity to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus in church with family and friends - to hear again the readings which tell the Christmas story and to join in well known carols. A wonderful start to anyone's Christmas celebrations.
Join us to celebrate Holy Communion as Christmas Eve turns into Christmas day and we once again welcome Jesus - 'Yea Lord we greet Thee, born this happy morning'. This is a said service.
St Michael's hosts Blue Flamingo, Preston's Dementia Cafe and Community Hub. We are delighted that they will open in the afternoon on Christmas day to offer a warm welcome, friendship, festive refreshents and a Christmas singalong.
