About Us

 St Pauls is a welcoming and worshipping Anglican community in the heart of Heaton Moor. It is a large beautiful stone grade 1 listed building built in the late Victorian era. It is set in picturesque grounds. The Church has a strong choral tradition with the choir setting a very high standard particularly for special occasions. 

There is a hearing loop sound system for use by people with hearing aids. 

The front door, which is accessible under the lych-gate  on Heaton Moor Road, has a ramp for wheelchairs users / prams and buggies. The rear entrance on St. Pauls road has a series of stone steps. 

The seating is traditional wooden pews but some pews have been removed to provide ease of access for wheelchairs. 

There is a dedicated area for young children to use during the service and the involvement of children and young people in the service is actively encouraged. 

We are part of the inclusive church network.

Parking is on St. Pauls road, On Sundays the car park to the rear of the Church hall can be used .  


To the rear of the church there is a church hall which is available to hire and used for refreshments after the service on Sunday morning. The entrance to the church hall is on St. Pauls road and has a ramp.( Please note there is a small lip on the door so assistance for wheelchair users will be required) 

Toilet facilities are available in the building and in the church hall. Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are in the Church Hall.
