How Can I help?

How Can I Help?

Firstly we would love to see you at one of our Sunday Services or on a Wednesday morning! You will be made welcome and people will chat with you over a cup of tea or coffee after the morning service or on a Wednesday.

Even if you cannot commit to coming regularly we are in need of practical help. Could you give us you time maybe once a month or more regularly?

We have the following needs for help:

Church garden: Tidying and weeding the flower beds - don't worry about the lawns - we have a contractor to do that!

Odd jobs to do around the Church.

Serving teas and coffees after our morning services.

Toddler group on Thursday mornings between 9.30am and 11.15am during school term: You might help to get the toys out, chat to the parents and carers or serve refreshments.

During the Summer months, serving refreshments on the lawn on the first Sunday of the month

Harvest festival lunch

Christmas Fair

Contact our Churchwarden Eleanor Doyle on 07942 490524 for offers of help relating to any of the above.

Flowers - Helping Ann Worthington and Ann Marshall with the altar flowers and at Christmas and others special events and weddings. This is a most rewarding job and the fellowship is much enjoyed. (Contact Ann Worthington - 07831 747416)

Join to rota to playing the Organ or other musical instrument at our Church services or Sing in our Church Choir - see also Church Choir and Organ. (Contact David Bradshaw on 0161 431 4661.)

We would be delighted to hear from you!
