THE CHURCH BUILDING IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP AND PRIVATE PRAYER
Welcome to St Faith and St Laurence Church. As part of our response to the latest national lockdown, we have made the decision to close the church building. Although we are currently closed for public worship, we are very much available. Please look around and see what might be for you.
Services will continue on Zoom at 10am and 4pm on Sundays. All are welcome to join. The video versions of the 10am service will appear on the website on the "This Week at worship" page.
Please do also look at the Resources for worship pages for other videos, services and prayers - all ways to hold ourselves and the world before God.
We are also active with Messy Church for families, coffee mornings, bible study courses and the like, all taking place online. Details in the "Services and events" section of the website.
Contact the Vicar Rev'd Canon Priscilla White or 07896 935798 if you want to join us on Zoom or WhatsApp, need to talk, want prayer over the phone, or for any other reason.
About Us
We are a friendly church set in the suburbs of Birmingham. We have a range of services set mostly within the middle tradition of the Church of England. We welcome everyone to share in our worship. Please make yourself known to one of the Ministry Team so we can get to know you better.
We are members of Inclusive Church and gladly assent to their statement of value which you can find on our Inclusive Church page.
Safeguarding
The parish of Harborne: St Faith & St Laurence is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
For further information on safeguarding please see our Safeguarding page.
