Tesco Collection for Quinton & Oldbury Food Bank 19-21 November

Every year Tesco holds a collection for food donations to food banks. This year it will be a little different because of covid-19. Food bank volunteers will not be able to greet shoppers and distribute lists of items that we need or personally thank shoppers as they make their donations. It will be more difficult for those wishing to donate to be aware of the specific items we need.

How can you help?

If you shop in Tesco during the collection – 19-21 November – and feel able to donate an item to us, then pay for it in the usual way and place it in the collection trolley or bin on the other side of the tills.

What items do we especially need?

Sponge puddings – long life tinned rice pudding

Tinned custard long life milk,

Tinned fish tinned fruit

Jam Tinned vegetables

Long life fruit juice Instant mash

Tinned meat Treats such as sweets or chocolate

We can always use practical items such as loo rolls, shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste too.

We have plenty of baked beans, soup and pasta

Thank you for your support
