Bishop Anne, as Acting Bishop of Birmingham, is very pleased to announce the appointment of Revd David Parker as Interim Minister for the parish of St Faith and St Laurence for the next three years. This follows the unanimous agreement of the PCC to accept this proposal at its most recent meeting. David will be retiring from his University post on 31st December and will then be available to serve the parish. This will be for the three days per week that the Diocese has previously identified the parish needs through the People and Places framework. David will be Licensed at some point in the new year; until then he will continue his present involvement in the parish.
