HOW TO FIND US

  • Holy Trinity Church is in the centre of Dilton Marsh at the intersection of the High Street and The Hollow.
  • There is on-street parking on the High Street outside the church.
  • The nearest train* stops at Dilton Marsh Halt, which is about a 15 minute walk from the church.
  • The nearest bus* stop is located outside the church entrance.
*Please consult local bus and train timetables to check service times.

ACCESSING THE BUILDING

The main entrance into the church is via a gently sloping path and there are no steps. During services and events, a member of the welcome team will be able to assist you.

We have a toilet in the church building, just inside the main entrance. The toilet has baby changing facilities and wheelchair access with a grab rail and emergency cord.

We have a children’s area in the North Transept of the church with books and toys. Please feel free to use this at any time.

SIGHT LOSS FRIENDLY CHURCH

We are proud to be registered with the Torch Trust as a Sight Loss Friendly Church - please click here to visit their website and to learn more.  If you need support, please get in touch with with Michelle (details at the bottom of this page) so that we can help you further.

ASSISTANCE DURING SERVICES

You are very welcome to bring any sensory aids you might need and to use these during services or events.

Unfortunately, we do not currently have a hearing loop fitted. We have a good sound system, and printed services sheets.

During our services, we use a screen at the front of the church. Seating at the front can be made available if you need this to help you to view the screen.

Holy Communion is normally distributed from the nave. You do not need to go up any steps to receive Communion. If you need Communion to be brought to you in your seat at any of our services, please let a member of the welcome team know before the service begins.

If you do not wish to take the Communion wine you are welcome to take 'one kind' Communion by just receiving the bread. If you wish to speak to someone about this before the day of the service, please do get in touch to discuss your needs (details below).

Gluten free wafers are available too, just let us know in advance of the service.

ASSISTANCE PRIOR TO ATTENDING SERVICES

If you would like the readings, hymns or a service sheet to be sent to you ahead of attending, please get in touch and we will happily organise this for you. Please also reach out if you would like to have larger print versions of our service sheets too.

We can also provide you with information about the following topics in advance of attending the church:

  • service/event content or structure
  • lighting in the building
  • seating arrangements
  • arrange to visit the church ahead of attending a service or event

If you would find it helpful to receive a copy of the sermon used that day, this can be provided to you.
