STANDING COMMITTEE

The standing committee meet when a short notice decision is required.
The membership is comprised of: Clergy, Churchwardens, Safeguarding Officer, Treasurer and PCC Secretary.

As we are a member of the White Horse Team Ministry, the Standing Committees of Dilton Marsh and Westbury occasionally come together as The White Horse Team Council.

WHITE HORSE TEAM POLICIES

The following Church Policies are in place and they are reviewed every year in March by the White Horse Team Council, except for the Health and Safety policy, which is reviewed in July by individual Churches.

  • Data protection
  • Dignity at Work
  • Health and Safety (for Holy Trinity Church)
  • Lone working
  • Safeguarding - please find the policy document below
  • Safer Recruitment
  • Social Media

Please note: Hard copies of all polices have been signed by hand and filed for future reference.

Whilst we are in the process of uploading all our policies, if you would like to receive any of them by email, please get in touch with our PCC Secretary.

ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING (APCM)

In the first quarter in the year we hold a Meeting of the Parishoners (where Churchwardens are elected) and a separate Annual Parochial Church Meeting for members on the Electrol Roll.  It is at the APCM where any new nominations for the PCC are raised (and accepted).

In preparation for the APCM a report is produced and shared with Church members at least two weeks before the meeting. The report includes updates from Clergy, Church Wardens and members of the PCC, together with updates about our groups and services.  Importantly, at the back of the report, we have a separate Treasurers Report.
