Church of England Diocese of Rochester St. Luke, New Brompton

Gillingham: St Luke The Evangelist

Medway's hidden gem....a lovely, peaceful, prayer-filled church, offering Anglo-Catholic worship in a fairly relaxed style.

Father Garry Jenkins SSC is our priest-in-charge, so we're very much open for regular Sunday services, weekday services, and other activities, and everyone is welcome.  Full details are in the various items in the column over on the left of this page!

This is a Mission Parish of the Society of St Wilfrid & St Hilda, in the episcopal care of the Bishop of Richborough.

On the FIRST Saturday each month it is a Cell Mass of Our Lady of Walsingham, and on the THIRD Saturday it is a Requiem for the faithful departed of that particular month (although this pattern may occasionally be altered). The church is usually open for coffee, a chat, private prayer, or just a look around until 12 noon.

Father Garry will usually be available to hear Confessions from 10am, and for baptism/wedding enquiries etc.. Other members of the Ministry Team will be happy to help with such enquiries at other times if Father Garry is not able to be present.
