On 17th March, Bishop Mike issued the following statement to PCC members that can now be shared with everyone."Interviews for the post of Rector of this benefice were held on Thursday 16 March. The panel did not make an appointment, having discerned there was not a match between the gifts and attributes of the applicant and the needs and aspirations of the benefice. We will, in due course, be re-advertising."
Sadly the re-advertising of the vacancy during May has also not attracted a suitable candidate so the search goes on and we pray that we will eventually find the person who can lead us forward.
We are sure everyone will agree that it is important that we do find someone who meets our requirements. We thank everyone involved in the selection process to date.
