It invites you to develop a rhythm of life that will help you grow as a disciple of Christ day by day, especially as we prepare to celebrate the mystery of God's saving love at Easter. Draw Near is the official Church of England booklet for Lent 2026. The booklets are recommended for everyone to use during Lent regardless of whether or not you plan to attend the weekly house groups.

Celtic Lenten retreat

Lent is a time to draw closer to God through self-discipline and nourishing our souls. You are invited to enjoy some time and space with Rev Catherine Bond of Lark Rise Retreats at Barham Church Hall.
We will be exploring the lives of three Celtic Saints – Columba, Patrick and Brigit to see what we can learn from their lives.
No prior knowledge of Celtic Christian spirituality is necessary.
Catherine is an experienced retreat day leader and a trained spiritual director. Like Revd Tracey, she is a member of the Community of Aidan and Hilda based on Lindisfarne.

This traditional event in our Church Calender starts at 10am with Children with parents in the hall doing various crafts etc associated with the Good Friday Story. At 11 others are invited to join us for Hot Cross Buns before we all move to the Church at about 11.30 for a short all-age worship

Festal Communion for Easter Day
