Bush End: St John the Evangelist
St John the Evangelist is a small church on the edge of a very large forest! The forest was created for William the Conqueror, but the church was built for the people of the village in the mid-nineteenth century.
Today we welcome villagers, visitors and pilgrims to our little church. Please come in at any time to enjoy the peace and quiet, or join us for a Sunday service at 9am every Sunday (feast days and festivals are advertised in advance). Our services use the Book of Common Prayer (BCP)
As from November 2019 we entered an interregnum. However on most Sundays visiting vicars are kindly taking our services particularly the 1st and 3rd Sundays for Holy Communion.
AS FROM 4TH JULY ST JOHN'S WILL BE OPEN FOR PRIVATE PRAYER BY ARRANGEMENT.
PLEASE CONTACT DAVID ROBSON TEL NO; 01279 718127

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS.
Our churchwardens are Mr David Robson and Mr Martin Peachey.
