Worship on Sunday 17th January
Today is the second Sunday after Epiphany, when our readings include the account of God's call to the boy Samuel, who had been entrusted to the care of the old priest Eli at the temple in Jerusalem. Little did Samuel or Eli or his family realise how important Samuel would become in due course. Our service of Holy Communion at St Mary's will take place as usual on Sunday morning at 09:20. All welcome.
We are all very aware of the danger of COVID infection so The new lockdown rules permit the continuation of church services - but of course in view of the virulence of the COVID virus we continue to be diligent to observe all the necessary hygiene and distancing precautions. After-church chats are not part of the service, so to facilitate the informal contact we all value so much, we now have the equivalent of after-church coffee via Zoom. It takes place at 12:00 to enable all from Longframlington and Felton to be part of it. It is not the same as being able to sit together and chat - but a lot better than no conversation at all. Please click here for the link to the after-church coffee session at 12 noon
For those those unable for now to be physically present in St Mary's, we also offer a streamed pre-recorded service at 11:00. Click here for a direct link to today's service at 11:00. Or click here to see the services from previous weeks available on our YouTube channel as well as the recording of today's service.
The pew sheet can be downloaded from this page after it has been published on Friday.
