Welcome to St Peter’s Church

St. Peter’s Church, Gt Totham will be open between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm daily and welcomes you for private prayer and reflection.

We are happy for you to stay for as long as you wish and in line with the current situation with Covid-19 would ask that you would adhere to some simple rules.

These are:  Please use the antibacterial wash before entering the Church. Try to limit the surfaces that you touch. Do not enter any of the areas marked off in both the red/white and black/yellow tape Should anyone else be in Church please observe the 2m rule when entering and leaving the church as well as when sitting in the pews.    Thank you for visiting St Peter’s Church

Our Parish church is a beautiful Grade 11* listed building that dates back to the 13th century. It lies in the heart of rural Essex overlooking the River Blackwater estuary. It provides a special place for community worship and a tranquil haven of peace in our busy world.
