Church of England Diocese of Chelmsford Great Totham

Great Totham: St Peter's

Our Parish church is a beautiful Grade 11* listed building that dates back to the 13th century. It lies in the heart of rural Essex overlooking the River Blackwater estuary. It provides a special place for community worship and a tranquil haven of peace in our busy world.

We are committed to Safeguarding children and young people and vulnerable adults. The St. Peter’s Great Totham P.C.C. has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website: or 01245 294444.

Our Parish Safeguarding Representative is Christine Walker 01621 892431
