Hymns & Music for All Saints Day, 1st November 2020, recorded by Mel, St. Paul's Church Organist

Mel writes:

Sunday 1st November is All Saints Day and for all my life “For all the saints” seems an almost a mandatory item! Born in England in 1953, Richard Gillard emigrated to New Zealand aged three with his parents and later wrote “Brother let me be your servant”. Perhaps there the world remains happy with gender exclusive language. I don’t approve of editors altering hymn words to suit what they see as improvements and it is probably an aberration on my part that the “PC” version has ended up in the scrolling text of the third hymn!
